Coming Alive in Christ, Together.

Whoever you are and wherever you’re from, you are welcome here.
NC/YOUTH is for Middle and High Schoolers (6th-12th Grade) who want a place to belong, grow, and explore faith together.

Our heart is to see students come alive in their relationship with Jesus—discovering who God is, who He created them to be, and how to live out their faith in everyday life. Through engaging worship, biblical teaching, meaningful small groups, and a lot of fun along the way, students build real friendships and grow deeper in their walk with Christ.

High School Small Groups

Where You Come Alive.

While Sunday nights bring big energy and excitement, Thursdays are where we go small—creating space for deeper relationships and authentic conversations.  Thursday nights are all about connection and growth.  Our  High School Small Groups meet in The Gathering Place @ New Community  from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday during the school year.

What to Expect:
The first hour is all about coming together as a community: fellowship, reconnecting, and breaking the ice with fun and laughter. During the second hour, we split into small groups (2 girls groups and 2 guys groups) that meet across the church campus.  In groups we dive into God’s Word, celebrate life’s wins, and pray through the struggles. This is a safe environment where you can belong, receive care and support, and explore life’s big questions together. It’s about discovering your identity in Christ and coming alive in your faith and relationships. Join us as we grow closer to God and one another!

If you are a High School student, make Small Groups a part of your life!

"The Lord shook up my life when I was a young man and I have followed Him ever since. God’s saving grace and my relationship with Him is the greatest gift I have ever received.  My passionate conviction is that this is a gift that I cannot keep to myself. This conviction, paired with a deep desire to see young people come to Christ and grow in their faith led me to work in youth ministry for the last 15 years in various capacities. I believe that middle schoolers and high schoolers are more than just the next generation of believers, they are an essential part of the church today. My mission is to challenge and equip our youth to be fishers of men wherever God has them placed today and tomorrow."
I have seen firsthand the impact that a positive youth ministry can have. I have seen young people grow in their faith, develop their leadership skills, and make a difference in their community. I am so grateful to be a part of this ministry and to have the opportunity to work with such amazing young people.
