Everlasting Father

We are all born longing for father figures to be in our life. Fathers that won't disappoint, fathers who will be there for us, fathers who will say wise things. For many that type of father just didn't exist... Isaiah calls Jesus "The Everlasting Father." This doesn't mean he switched places with God the Father; rather we are going to learn that in his relationship to us Jesus would be like the father we've always longed for.
