We are thrilled to celebrate that we've had 137 families pledge and have hit a huge milestone of $1.5M! This puts us well on our way to breaking ground. We still have a more funds to raise over the coming years, but are trusting God will provide as we look to break ground this spring. If you haven't joined the campaign, it's never too late to jump on board as we look to do more FOR our community.

In the coming days, weeks, and months, we can use your prayers as we still have a lot of details to nail down on the plans, but more so, we need prayer for the permitting process with King County so we can hit our target of breaking ground in April of 2025.

The OTHER thing we are so excited about, is that the launch of this campaign means we are getting VERY close to breaking ground on plans that are reasonable in our current world. We hope you'll consider coming along side us as we can't wait to see how God is going to use us in a way that is FOR our community!

We get asked the question about why it has taken so long, which has a complicated and long answer, but this timeline helps illustrate the history of what has taken place over the last 15 years.

The development on the property has been extensive and full of wins and successes!
See Jesus was our last campaign that set out to build a new facility in this same location and was kicked off in 2017 with the focus to See Jesus with 2020 vision. That is, our goal was to be moved in and completed by 2020. Some long delays in the conditional use permitting process and then COVID pushed not only our timeline out, but blew our budget out of the water.  It took 3 years from the submission of our building permit to receiving approvals in mid 2023. As we are all well aware, costs of everything (especially building) had gone through the roof and our original budget was no longer able to be realized and we had to go back to the drawing board.

The blue section below outlines the process and where we stand on our current building. We are working through the updated requests from King County for the permits and expect to have them back and signed off in time for breaking ground mid 2025. 

We are thrilled to share the latest developments regarding our new church building plans. After meticulous planning and revisions, we have finalized the blueprints for a magnificent 10,000-square-foot auditorium that will serve as the heart of our community. These plans have been carefully crafted to meet our congregation's needs and to provide a welcoming space for worship, fellowship, and outreach.

We are excited to announce that the revised plans have been submitted to King County for approval. As we await feedback, we hope to secure the necessary permits by fall. This timeline aligns with our goal to break ground before October 15th of this year. However, should we encounter delays in the approval process, we remain steadfast in our commitment to seeing this project through. If permits are obtained after the targeted date, we will adjust our timeline accordingly, ensuring that every aspect of the project meets the highest standards.

The total cost for our new facility's construction and land development is estimated to be $6 million. We have allocated approximately $4 million from our savings towards this endeavor. We are deeply grateful for the generosity and dedication of our congregation, whose support has brought us closer to realizing our vision.

Once groundbreaking commences, we will launch another building campaign to raise the remaining $2 million needed to complete the project. With your continued support and contributions, we are confident that we will reach this milestone and create a space to enrich the lives of future generations.
